The Voluntary CPD Scheme has ended on 31 December 2023. Please refer to Transitional Arrangement for more details.
An RVS must keep records and documentary evidence of CPD activities he has participated in every rolling 2-year reporting cycle to demonstrate that he has complied with the Board’s mandatory CPD requirement. These records and documentary evidence should be sufficient to support his attendance or completion of CPD activities and retained for a minimum of six years. The following documents should be readily presented to the Board for inspection upon request –
a list of CPD activities undertaken including date, time involved, location, description of the activity (i.e. CPD Point Record Sheet); and
documentary proof of participation in the declared CPD activities e.g. original copies of the course outlines and timetables, handouts/instructional materials, case studies working materials, certificates of completion/attendance, etc.. Please refer to the Examples of Evidence under Acceptable CPD Activities for more guidance.
An RVS should not send his completed CPD Point Record Sheet and supporting documentation to the Board unless he is requested to do so.
When an RVS applies for a practising certificate or renewal of his practising certificate, he is required to declare in the application form that he has completed the CPD requirement for the relevant two-year CPD Reporting Cycle.
